The name Leut comes to have borne the same name this one of boats from 17nd century. These boats served then for fish and transport for different goods in the whole Dalmatia, The length of such a boat varied between 7 - 12 meter and breadth 1/3 of length. The boats had 6 oars and a mast for the sail 
in these days
