In 1926 people founded a fishing fleet and for that reason the small village Kozarica. Nowadays the small village gain importance and becomes more and more to a popular tourist village. In the past there was a marsh (Slatina) in the vicinity which was drained of a farmer, called Marin Radulj. As a result the former marsh has become to a fertile piece of land.
