Rogoznica is situated at the middle croatian Adriatic
coast (34 km away from Sibenik, 50 km away from the airport of Split
and 1 km away from the Adriatic coastal road), in the southernmost
part of the Sibenik region.
The mall village is hidden in a bay which is part of the, in the
Mediterranean sea protruded mainland of Dalmatia.
We find Rogoznica on the island Kopara. The town was during centuries
isolated from the mainland till the construction of a dam connected
the prosperous destination with the mainland of the croatian coast.

Rogoznica is a famous fishing village, whose name is Ribarsko
Misto in the croatian language. In the west part, more exactly
near the peninsula of Gradina, there is a salt lake with a depth
of 50 m. In summer time the water temperature in the lake is some
degree higher than in the Mediterranean.There are board and lodging
as well as private rooms in the first category in Rogoznica.
