In the former country house of the Patrician family Gucetic, with its extensive park (the oldest systematic laid out Renaissance park in Croatia – according to an inscription the lay out was in 1502), an arboretum with numerous exotic plants is located.

On the market place of Trsteno there are two huge plane trees (5 metres thick and 60 metres high).

The 400 years old plane trees are unique specimens of its kind in Europe.
